2 Thessalonians 2:11  And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie

In recent times the lies are becoming immense. Recently in the U.S. we are witnessing close hand the depravity of the delusion which is to call evil good, and good evil. A Supreme Court nominee is being attacked vehemently for one reason, that he just may help over turn a decision which allows babies to be killed in the womb.

Degenerates are willing to lie, cheat, steal, and even go to jail if necessary if it means that abortion stays the law of the land. And we are not talking about their own right to an abortion as I would say the larger percentage of those who vehemently desire this evil to stay in tact are either past the child bearing age or cannot have children of their own.

The hypocrisy is quite astounding in this delusion as I see it being God’s judgment on a land which has basically allowed the murder of hundreds of thousands of children for the sake of nothing other than being able to do so and for DECADES now. Calling the good evil? If you speak out against this murder, you are labeled as “evil”, just as the nominee Brett Kavanaugh has been labeled of whom has not even publicly spoken out against abortion. But the abortion activists see that he might, so they need to stop him now.

A similar mentality occurred in the 1930s and 1940s in Germany. Those who saw the execution of Jews as evil, were labeled as evil. And doing so, led to their own executions. Make NO MISTAKE this depravity grows, and similar tactics will be carried out in this country. Those who speak out against abortion will be jailed and/or put to death if the activists continue to mount their ploy in their depravity and evil delusion.

The end justifies the means in this degenerate delusion. They will continue to smear and malign Kavanaugh and come up with more outlandish stories as they scheme to resist and obstruct his seat on the Supreme Court.  But do not fear, God is watching. Those doing so will FACE a judgment someday soon, they will rue the day they lied, cheated, maligned, and slandered to justify and keep in place their degenerate evil.  The wrath of millions of murdered babies is pending from God. Trust in Him!

Why does it seem the evil is winning in this fight? Because for several decades now, those who ALSO ran to oppose this murder DID NOTHING. They gained political power with the promise to end abortion, yet succumbed and compromised it at every turn, and funded it each year.   They TOO are under God’s judgment.

Make no mistake, God will repay!  Do not let your heart be troubled, do not take things into your own hands. As the Nazis discovered, they were not beyond God’s judgment, neither are those who promote the senseless callous murder of children. His wrath is a promise, trust in this promise!

Matthew 5:15  Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

About 20 years ago, if it were not the the honesty of another, I addressed a major problem with my teeth. When I was in the 8th grade, I fell on my chin during a basketball practice and knocked out my two front teeth. The dentist put on what are called “caps”. As I grew up, my teeth also grew and the caps were showing disgusting lines where the caps ended.  Over time, I did not open my mouth to smile, and when I talked to someone initially I would place my hand over my mouth at times to hide my teeth.

Years later, I ran into someone from my hometown. After not seeing her for years, the first thing she said was “why don’t you get your teeth fixed?”.  I was initially taken back, because it was something I was hiding and no one ever told me there was a problem. But then I took action, I went to the dentist and got permanent replacements.  It took a little time, but I no longer feared smiling or speaking to people in a close proximity. But the problem was addressed for good.

I use this story to first address Gospel sharing. We must be BOLD as the person was to me with my teeth. If someone you see as unsaved, the BEST thing you can tell them is that they are unsaved. It might be uncomfortable for them and for you, but in the long run they will thank you!

The second item I will address is the “secretive Christians”. Those who say “my faith is between God and myself”. Is there such a thing?  Read the New Testament from start to finish, and you will never find one secret Christian. Rather when the light of the Lord Jesus Christ has graced them, they are never secret about their faith.

We can read of Peter and John going right to the temple in the Acts of the Apostles, blaring out the Gospel to everyone. They knew they might be persecuted for doing so, but went boldly anyway. And when they were persecuted, they rejoiced because this is exactly what Jesus told them would happen (John 15).  Nothing in them could hide the light of the Gospel now indwelling them, they shouted it to anyone and everyone.

There is no such thing as a secret Christian or a closet Christian. Those who once a week go to a brick and mortar church for an hour and then the rest of the week hide the Gospel and blend in with society.  These sinners need the Gospel just as those who you discern as unsaved. There is a reason they are hiding the light as Jesus states.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. ²⁰ For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

If you have been graced with the LIGHT, do not hide this LIGHT. The world will always tell you “put out that light!”. It hurts their eyes and ears. But as mentioned, boldness and honesty is the behavior of the saved. The light is the disinfectant needed to expose and call attention to what is needed, the person and work of Jesus Christ for the sinner!  Tell them, show them the LIGHT!

 

 

 

2 Corinthians 4:3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing

You plead the Gospel to Catholics around you, and nothing seems to work. They scoff, divert, ignore, and pass you off as yesterday’s garbage.  Despite the love you show, the time you have given, they continue to resist.  The analogy in a recent context is a news commentator saying that “President Trump could give each American a million dollars out of his own pocket, he could provide to every known cancer, and the resistors still would seek his demise”.

There is a definite veil over a Catholic’s eyes. How do I know? Because my own eyes were veiled to the Gospel for decades. I ignored anything outside of Roman Catholicism flat-out as crazy talk.  I would not entertain any deviations from what I had been taught even with the most passionate caring loving Christians I encountered.  They were talking to a very prideful stubborn wall.

But this should NEVER prevent you from witnessing to Catholics. Like myself, you never know who God is drawing and calling.  It might not be time yet for a rebirth, so don’t be saddened, let God do His work.  If you trust in Him, you know that whatever the decision He has made comes to pass, it will always be perfect and to His will.

Some Catholics are confused. They wonder why we share the Gospel to them as they already believe they are Christians.  They will call you anti-Catholic just for telling them to place their faith alone in Jesus Christ.  Which if you think about it, is actually anti-Christian for rejecting this Gospel.

Most Catholics are also bewildered as to what the church actually is. They see it as Protestants (which is every non-Catholic) vs. Catholics.  Because they don’t see the Gospel as ONE Gospel, they don’t see the church as a born-again sinner by the grace of God added by Him to Jesus Christ’s church, but a brick and mortar institution with bylaws.  A place they go to, as I have heard a Catholic say “get their church on”.  They are reverent inside those walls, but outside those walls tells an opposite story of sin and dead fruits. They see themselves as “good people” by avoiding what they are taught as mortal sins, but always uncertain of salvation.

When in actuality, every born-again believer is the church! So no matter where you are, what time it is, what day it is, the church is always with you.  Believers seek other believers for fellowship. They recognize each other by the same teacher, the Holy Spirit.  We can see the fruits of repentance and the Gospel being shared, and are attracted to this fellowship.

So don’t get too frustrated with your Catholic friends. They may or may not be added to the church Jesus Christ is building. They aren’t rejecting you personally, but God and His Gospel.  And if you are a former Catholic as I was, recall those decades in the church when you yourself was equally if not more hardened.

Those Catholics God is drawing WILL come to Christ, make no mistake. It might be today, it might be next year, or 20 years from now, just rest in this and trust in the Gospel.  Stand firm, don’t appease, don’t manipulate, and DO NOT conform to the RCC gospel. Do not seek common ground as there really is none to be found.  Lastly, never ever partner with the RCC faith in no way shape or form, that’s IF you love Catholics as yourself and desire them saved.

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Being born again is like a car with a new incorruptible engine!

Before this happens, the analogy is we are driving with a car that has most of its warning lights on, sputtering, stammering, kareeming recklessly on the road. The car starts and stops, its tires are worn out, the engine makes a loud clanking sound, and you see the smoke protruding out of it.  Each day because of sin, the car gets worse and worse. Some days it doesn’t even start at all, the sputtering of the engine is getting progressively poorer. Some choose to ignore all of this and kareem recklessly down the road of life, with the end being a broken down car headed to an eternal junkyard.

Despite what you do, oil changes, spark plug replacements, nothing seems to help. The analogy of this would be your religious works, sacrament participation, volunteer works they too aren’t helping.  You are quite uncertain if the car can get you to your eternal home, scared when you drive it because you never know when she is going to quit. Your world religion says “just try a bit harder”, “trust us we shall fix it”, but it definitely isn’t helping fix that old broken down engine on its last legs.  It is like putting bandages over the oil leaks which seem to spring each day.

Psalm 73:26 My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

You believe the old engine in your life is “good”. But it most definitely is not “good”, it is always going to be less than perfect and the ONLY way to drive on that engine to eternal life is it needs to be perfect!  In other words no one is truly “good”. Subjective “goodness” does not meet God’s eternal perfect standard.  Those with a new life from God realize that the only way is through faith ALONE in the perfection of Jesus Christ.

Some people by pride can live their entire life on a broken engine. They managed to convince themselves that the old worn out broken engine is better than none at all. If graced by God, that old engine finally dies in this lifetime.  It is kind of like going to the mechanic and him DREADFULLY telling you “sorry, but I can’t do a thing for this old engine, you need a new one”.  God replaces your engine, He grants a new life in Jesus Christ!  In the case of God showing you the dead engine of sin in your life, it is not dread you will feel, but rejoicing! Because He granted this new life without one bit of your involvement, it will be by His grace and mercy alone.

Ezekiel 36:26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

With a new life in Christ, you now drive your life with certainty in Him and you NOW know this new engine WILL drive you to your eternal home with Him. This new engine so to speak from God is incorruptible, it drives like a top, the warning lights are gone, and you are in everlasting peace with Him.  You are no longer worrying if the engine will die because you have been granted eternal life!

Are you tired of living your life in uncertainty, tired of all those religious works which amounted to zero fixes?  Repent of your sins and place your faith ALONE in Jesus Christ!  Now I can say this ad nauseum, “repent of your sins and place your faith alone in Jesus Christ”, but without a new engine from God, regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, you will reject this remedy.  However, if you are tired of the broken down life you have, the uncertainty of the religion you practice, you are hearing the call of God believe it or not.  If it is of His will, He will grant you a new life by His grace alone!

Colossians 3:22 Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.

Stop driving your life with a defective corrupted engine!  Those with new engines from God? Stop driving your life like if you were driving with your old engine. Let the old pass away once and for all!  This means stop venturing back to your old life of sin. If you cannot stop? Ask yourself if God really granted you a new life.

Everyone wants to be free, but everyone needs a NEWNESS from God to actually live eternally with Him!

Exodus 15:2 The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Praise is defined as “the expression of approval or admiration for someone or something.”  I will add that when defined in a biblical sense, it is the “unconditional expression of approval”. Meaning when we praise God, there are no strings attached, no secret wish or deal.  The praise is natural, it is done to gain a favor from God.

If you aren’t sure how to praise God, please read any Psalm for example to help guide you in this. The Psalmist’s entire focus is on who God is, the Almighty God, Creator of heaven and earth.  The praise will always be unconditional, it is done merely because God is gracious, He is merciful, He is loving, He is omnipotent.

We see a glimpse of praise from the angels in heaven as they enter God’s throne room. “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” they proclaim as seen in Isaiah 6:3.

Are you really praising the Lord, or are you praising yourself with the Lord is the question. If you believe you have some sort of synergistic cooperation relationship with Him, you most likely praise yourself instead of God.  By seeing yourself as somehow a worthy sinner, you praised yourself, not God.

Instead meditate on who God is, what He is, what He has done, and what He promised to do. Praise Him for the God He is!

I asked a friend tonight “are you ready to face God”? Meaning if He called you home tomorrow, are you prepared. His first answer was that he believed in Jesus and was certain of his salvation. I replied that I understand that, but are you ready, meaning would you leave this earth without any regrets? He then understood the question. He answered that he was ready, and he was at peace with it.

If you are clinging to this world, you are not clinging to the Kingdom. Sadly, only those with a terminal disease really think about if they are ready to die, to leave this earth. But we ALL should be thinking about it, as we all will pass away.

When Jesus said “don’t worry about tomorrow”, He was digging at this question. We should be grateful with each day we are granted and live our lives without regret. Is there someone you have not forgave? What are you waiting for?  Is there someone you love who does not know you love them? What are you waiting for?  Is there something you wanted to do, but haven’t found the time? What are you waiting for? And most importantly, if you have not seriously evaluated where you stand before God, what are you waiting for?

There is a song by Tim McGraw called “Live like you were dying”. The title is what comes to mind, because believe it or not, we are all dying. You don’t need a terminal disease diagnosis, do you?  In the song, McGraw sings about all the things he wanted to do because he was dying. What are the things you want to do? Live like you were dying!

We are all procrastinators in our fallen nature. “Tomorrow maybe I will” is what we think. But what IF there wasn’t a tomorrow?  The workers of Cantor Fitzgerald at the World Trade Center in New York, and those on those dreaded flights on 9-11 for example realized quickly there wasn’t a tomorrow.  Don’t live eternally in regret thinking to yourself, “I wish I would just of”.

To those putting off your faith in Jesus Christ, that eternal regret is lingering. Each day we are blessed with a day!  Think about this!  No one is promised tomorrow, if you don’t believe me, just pick up a newspaper and read the obituaries. They’d be the first to tell you that you are NOT promised any day, so each day is a blessing.  So, why put off listening to that friend who is sharing the Gospel to you?  Notice, I didn’t say run off an join a brick and mortar church? You can surrender your sins to Jesus Christ and be added to the church, what is stopping you?  If you have ears to hear this and eyes to see this, do not harden your heart, do not die in regret!

Are you ready to meet God, your Creator?  If not, place your total faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ today! Repent of your sins. Do not leave this earth in eternal regret, “if I would of just listened to that guy”. And forever and ever will be your regret.

Luke 16:11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?  ¹² And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? ¹³ “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.”

Having been scammed financially and spiritually I can speak with truth on this subject.  This fallen world has plenty of scam artists. A scammer will never announce to you “I am about to scam you”, rather they use deception, manipulation, and all sorts of tricks from the devil himself.  The degenerate will generally come to you as a docile loving confidant, with theft and swindle on their mind.

Hint: Scam artists move the goal post!

Scammers are also in the church, you see them on TV each day. “Please send me some money, and I promise that illness or hardship will go away in your life”, ever heard this sentiment? When the illness or hardship did not go away, the scammer will move the goal post, demanding more and more money or things from you.

Relationship scammers will use the love deception game. Their demonic goal is to sift everything you have, and then leave you with a broken heart and an empty bank account.  They are goal post movers as well.  As soon as you think you satisfied the scammer with your financial help, get ready, because the goal post moved and will use your feelings now to game more money from you.  “I will love you forever, if you do this for me” is the relationship scammer’s sentiment, when true love is always unconditional.

Spiritual scammers are the churches who preach UNCERTAINTY in Jesus Christ. They do this so your dependency and hopefully your money fall prey to the church.  They will never allow one to be saved to the uttermost by Jesus Christ for fear that the sinner will now follow Him, and Jesus doesn’t demand any money or your time.  It is a passive aggressive scam, if you are not contributing, the church in question will sooner or later ask you to ante up to their scam.

When the scam and deception are exposed, these degenerate scam artists will now play the victim.  The person they fleeced is to blame they will claim.  They didn’t hold a gun to the person’s head, so they will claim it “wasn’t my fault for taking everything from you”.  In a way they are right, but in a way they are also evil.  They used the devil’s veil to swindle their prey, knowing that invincible ignorance abounds.

1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

Once the scam has ruined the victim, the scam artist is nowhere to be found again. They are onto their next victim.  They prowl with the devil whispering in their ear “find your prey”.  The degenerate person, company, or church will be long gone while you try to salvage yourself in the wreck, as others mock you and say “HOW COULD YOU HAVE BEEN SO STUPID”.  And it is stupidity, willful stupidity for allowing yourself to be scammed. You aren’t a victim, but a willing participant.

As Jesus states, you cannot serve both, mammon and God, so a scam artist is never serving God, but the mammon and the devil.   Do NOT be naive!  Do not trust a stranger who comes to you with hat in hand, with a condition.  QUESTION and DISCERN their motivations first. For one thing if one is not a servant of Christ, that should raise an immediate red flag! A sinner asking for a relationship with you without the Gospel, is like a gun being pointed at your head.  This might sound extreme, but ask yourself how can one trust the devil with your future?  There is NO neutrality, one is either serving the devil or God, there is no neutral non-committal gray areas.

How to break up the scam before it starts? Just say NO to any questionable dealing, and let your NO be NO!  If the person wasn’t a scam artist, they will accept your NO! And then KEEP SAYING NO! 

The scam artist will not be patient with the answer of NO, the devil will prompt them to leave you to find other prey.

We would have to remove ourselves from the world for Christians not to engage in society, and in many ways God is doing this.  I am not saying you can only engage in financial dealings with Christians, for one thing, they might show they are not Christians (been there done that) as well.  What I am saying is DISCERN the motivation before you engage in any relationship.  One will clue you in, as most scam artists aren’t the brightest, as to how they intend to swindle you.  There all sorts of games in this, the damsel or gentlemen in distress, another one will be gathering information of what you desire and then using that in the game.  They will even be so bold to attempt to use God in their games, claiming He is behind their scam so that you capitulate.

General advice, that if the scammer’s offer is too good to be true, it is not true!  If the offer comes with strings attached, ask yourself what are those strings and why are they attached. I can speak from my experience, always be testing and discerning, don’t be willfully naive and rationalizing.   A scam artist will always give you a clue they are about to scam you, test for those clues.

Don’t let a scammer from the devil use their game on you! Expose them and they will flee like the degenerate cowards they are.

 

Matthew 5:26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

In part 1 of this series titled Credit Crisis, I spoke about the clear and evident problem of the debt people have found themselves in. It an overlooked problem in the United States as we live in a plastic economy. The government won’t call attention to it, because it would hurt the facade of a growing economy.  Plus they ran up their own debt, over 20 trillion dollars now.

While the government can kick the can down the road, individuals cannot. Sooner or later the jig will be up and the anxiety and depression around this can become insurmountable.  If you try obtain a secured loan and your credit is in shambles, you will be declined, this means no house or car.  So what’s the solution?  I will attempt to give you some practical keys which hopefully will help.

1. Look at every credit card you have or obtain as a 30 day loan or 60 day high interest loan.  If you extend past 60 days, look at your loan as in default even though the credit card company will not label it as.  This means, whatever you borrow in 30 days must be paid off in full 60 days or at the time of your next statement’s due date.   Do NOT extend past 60 days.

2. Wants and needs.  A real hard look at your wants and needs must be assessed. Is that vacation affordable?  Do you really need 10 pairs of shoes? Do you need more clothes which will be worn maybe once and thrown to Goodwill?  Do you really need to go to that concert or out on the town with your friends?  Do you really need that $50 haircut or manicure every 3 weeks? And other “want” questions such as this need to be ask, because they are not “needs” no matter how delusional your mind might be (sorry to be direct, but it needs to be said-no pun intended).

3. Needs.  If you live in a home or apartment, most likely you have rent due or a mortgage due. This is a need to be paid.  Needs need to be paid first before any want can be had. So let’s go through some more needs.  If you have children, their care is a need, it is ALWAYS a priority but be careful not to give them their wants instead of needs either.  They need to be fed, clothed, cared for, schooling, etc.  They may want a new Iphone or another pair of shoes or to go to college, but is this affordable to you?  Another need is transportation. You need a car to get to work or to school, or a bus token is needed. Many disregard transportation as a need, and then when the $2,000 repair bill comes they are surprised by it.  In the 19th century for example, horses were the means of transportation. The family horses were fed and taken care of as a need to get around, to get into town, for farm work, etc.  They didn’t have the luxury of horse dealerships and a used horse salesman.

Remember to assess always wants and needs, get into this discipline.  NEEDS ALWAYS NEED TO BE PRIORITIZED EACH DAY BEFORE ANY WANTS.   It is a radical change, but it needs to happen.

4. The Cash ONLY Method.  What I used to self-discipline myself from the wants and needs, is using the cash only method, a radical discipline. It is a tangible thing you can actually see. If you have a job, instead of depositing your checks, cash them.

Example, let’s say you cashed your checks for one month and after withholdings you received $1,500.00.  Now go to the wants and needs. Needs need to be prioritized, so rent, child care, utilities, car payments need to be paid first. What you are left with can be used for a want, however by using the cash method, you will see either you are left with enough for those wants and it will determine which want you can actually afford.  If you have credit card bills, this is not a want, but a need, they need to be paid.  So let’s say you are left with $50, are you going to want to go buy a $600 TV or take a $2,000 vacation?

Believe it or not, people lived by the cash method for centuries!  The well-to-do were given lines of credit, but 99 percent of Americans lived just fine by the cash method.  It can be done as it has been done.  The cash method SHOWS you your actual financial picture!  And it shows you how TO LIVE WITHIN YOUR MEANS.

I have been using the cash method for 8 years now. I have survived and you can too!  By using this method, I was able to become debt free in a few short years as well as being able to save money.  I no longer go to a department store to buy one shirt and end up with twelve, I may come home with none if the price does not fit my current cash flow.

I know I know, this is not fun!  But what is your alternative? You can continue on the path you are on, or face reality.  The debt will NOT go away no matter who pays it, you are on the hook for it.  Yes, that means a rich husband or wife might bail you out, but it will come with strings attached.  In either case, if you don’t learn the discipline in your finances, you will just end up again looking for a bail out, and begging for others to help you. If you are like this? I feel sorry for you.

Take control of your debt, do not let it enslave you any longer!

 

Sinful society says, “it’s completely OK, LIVE WAY BEYOND YOUR MEANS”

1 Samuel 22:2a  And everyone who was in distress, everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented gathered to him.

The credit industry has done a masterful devilish job in enslaving millions of Americans.  Reports each year see the average debt total increasing.  Students for example pushed into college by overzealous parents can find themselves with a degree without a job and a insurmountable debt to be paid.  By the way, I am not discounting a college education, I am though discounting the preparation and the goals from college, meaning the applicable career to pay the debt off quickly.  One should not believe that by getting some obscure degree while amassing a $100,000 student loan debt, that the coinciding career is ever going to pay this off.  These are now the same students clamoring for government help.  Think BEFORE you amass the loan, as to what will result in a career.

Sinful society says, “it’s completely OK, LIVE WAY BEYOND YOUR MEANS”, as the degenerate Kardashians chime in “you only live once”.  Without being blessed with monetary wealth, the temptation is to take that bait and then cross your fingers.

Before my rebirth, I lived that life, I lived beyond my means. I do have a college education, had great paying jobs, but my credit debt was insurmountable because I focused on the WANTS instead of NEEDS.  Sadly what gets under reported in this country is that credit debt is a MAIN cause of depression, anxiety, and unfortunately suicide.

I never considered taking my own life over the debt I had, but can understand how one could get to that point.  Without faith in God, faced with a debt which now cannot be paid, the lowly slave to credit has little to no options. The anxiety each day builds as one goes to the mailbox to receive more bad news.  Without winning the lottery, the debt seemingly cannot be paid.  Some try consolidation schemes, or then get more credit to pay the credit.  Bankruptcy is the only viable option, but comes with giant penalties along with the shameful stigma of “I filed bankruptcy”.   So I can completely understand why one would feel very scared, depressed, and as if there is no options left.

The debt crisis is one that we never hear being talked about.  We see the Discover Card commercials or other credit commercials such as Capital One which make it seem like  being in debt can be a joyful experience.  As they prompt you to live beyond your means!

Wants will always come before or equal to needs with that plastic card in your wallet, always tempting you to go beyond of what you can afford.

Just Don’t Do It!

If you are a college aged person, don’t do it!  Unless you are completely financially disciplined and viable, never take a credit card out!  Don’t buy the line “you need to, to build your credit”…No!  Live within your means!  Because once you start digging the hole, you will never be able to dig yourself out.  By living within your means, you will never have to face that debt hole, and guess what? You will buy a house, car, all the things you didn’t think you could ever have, you will have.

If you are in debt, do something about it today.  Tired of going to the mail to see another high payment and debt total? Do something about it.  Stop doing it in other words. Stop adding to your debt total for one thing.  Your credit card companies will not help you, they hope you fail so they can tack on some more interest and finance charges.  So ask yourself what needs to be done.  If that means a cold stop, do it!  Your credit is already in shambles, it cannot get worse.  If bankruptcy is the only viable option for you, file it and then never ever get back into the credit card debt again.  If there is a consolidation loan which can be obtained with terms which will get you out of the debt as soon as possible, look into it.  The sooner you take action, the sooner you will be out of the problem.

Don’t be like I was, praying to win the lottery as a way out. God doesn’t entertain those prayers, speaking from experience!  What you first need to do is acknowledge and confess your problem “I am drowning in debt and have a problem”.  And then to realize the government is never going to bail you out, the credit card companies aren’t going to give you a pass, your income isn’t going to ever be high enough to bail you out, and winning the lottery is a sham.   In my recent book I spoke of the Apollo 13 “Houston we have had a problem” analogy. Acknowledge the problem, stop excusing yourself, stop rationalizing, stop blaming others.  Admit you are totally responsible for the debt hole you are in.

In Part 2, I will write of ways I used to get out this debt. Hard choices will need to be made, but if you are willing to take a step towards freedom from debt, you can and will get out of it! I am living proof of this.

I have watched and paid attention to about every Supreme Court nominee hearing in the past 20 years. The questioning is basically always the same from leftist Democrats “will you overturn Roe V. Wade?”.  Of which the nominee will not answer based on not signaling a way they would vote either way. During Chief Justice John Roberts hearing I wrote an Op-ed in the Mpls Star Tribune basically asking “if Roe V. Wade was such a moral and upstanding decision, what is the worry that any court would overturn it”.

This week during the Brett Kavanaugh hearing, it was more of the same. Dem Senators asking exhaustively in every way possible if he was leaning to overturn this abortion wielding decision or not. Kavanaugh followed suit as his predecessors, citing precedent and that Roe is settled law.  Protesters constantly interrupted his testimony screaming obscenities and vile things, because they feel he is a threat to their abortion freedom.

Patrick Leahy, a Dem Senator from Vermont is a Roman Catholic. And from all accounts a devout Roman Catholic, and so is Dick Durbin from Iliinois, both have protected abortion at all costs throughout their careers. And both during these hearings have made it known they oppose any nominee ever thinking about the over turning of Roe v. Wade.

It is a sad state of affairs when the fight is to maintain the right to murder the unborn, and then at the same time called it a travesty of human rights when illegal immigrant children are separated from their parents for more than a day. The propaganda artists on the left now call abortion “women’s reproductive rights” or “a woman’s health care”. They claim that if abortion is outlawed it takes the rights away from women. But where is the HUMAN RIGHT to live by the unborn?

Science has proven time and time again, life does begin at conception. Infrared images also have been used to show a BEATING HEART just days after conception, a real live human being. But abortion activists see this human being as something they discard in the garbage like yesterday’s trash while calling this “healthcare”?

The abortion industry as now killed over 60,000,000 (million) babies, yes killed, real live human beings.  Future doctors, lawyers, scientists, CEOs, athletes, great community members, presidents and legislators, farmers, ministers of the Gospel, future moms and dads, brothers and sisters, uncles and aunts, snuffed out because of calling good evil and evil good.

I have spoken out against the RCC on their systematic child abuse, and I will call out the evangelical church in the U.S. for basically sleeping while the unborn continually to be snuffed out for political expediency.  If your church is NOT even addressing this, pushed it aside, it is time to leave that church.  Your pastor can cite the Gospel all he wishes, but if he is ignoring the evil in his midst, that Gospel is a gospel of hypocrisy in his own life.  Every statement of faith should have their statement speaking out against abortion or that church to me is not a church. Durbin has been banned from attending communion in his local RCC, and I am wondering how many non-Catholic politicians are also banned from their churches for supporting the murder of the unborn?

If your church ignores and sweeps abortion under the rug, throwing their hands up, to manipulate congregants, that church should CLOSE ITS DOORS. Leave any church which calls good evil and evil good! If you are voting for abortion wielding politicians, YOU are calling good evil and evil good!
