There are many world religions out there which claim they are in fact the original church founded by Jesus Christ. There are many Christians out there claiming they are following Jesus Christ. But questions arise when one looks under the hood so to speak and they see differences in these religions and Christians, so which one is correct? Which church is sharing the true Gospel and which one is the fake?

In my view the discernment is made easy from a logical standpoint. It starts always with the Good News of Jesus Christ and the many deviations from this is where you can decipher the fraud. I start always looking at the central question of salvation and what is taught in the revealed word of God, Scripture. If this question is not answered by the test of Scripture, the fraud is shown.

So what is that central question which must be answered? How does one go to heaven, how are they saved. The answer most all affiliated with Christianity will give is “to believe in Jesus Christ”. But that being the main cog, the looking under the hood in that teaching must also be made. Jesus is the Savior, there are no other ways to heaven outside of Him, He provides complete forgiveness of ones sins, gives eternal life freely without one condition, and that it is by faith alone in Jesus Christ alone through grace one is saved. Now this last statement I gave is where the wheels fall off many world religions and so-called Christians. The engine of the Gospel is rejected, thus the fraud can be discerned.

A simple and easy example? If a religion or so-called Christian teaches that one cannot go directly by faith to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins, they are frauds. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He also said in John 7:37 “On the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and called out in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.” Jesus said “come to Me”. He did not say “come to a person who claims to represent Me, and they will give you rest”. Now logic would tell you that the only way one could actually come to Jesus is by faith, since He no longer physically walks the earth. Jesus did not say “come to a brick building with a steeple, and there you will find rest”, or “come to Mary, she will give you rest”, or “come to My pastor”, or “come to my sacraments and rituals”, didn’t say these things either.

So IF any deviation comes from “Come to Me” which is Jesus Christ directly by faith, you can discern that person or religion or church as fraudulent. And I boldly state with God as my witness to discard them! Some will state that their religion traces back to the early Apostles and they are successors to them. Are they? Again, the Apostles did not deviate off the Good News and exhorted sinners to come to them, they always pointed to a direct line to Jesus Christ. They never claimed to replace Jesus as many world religions either overtly or subtlety try to do. Discard them! Discard any pastor, minister, so-called Christian who claims they are your keys to eternal life and in effect replace Jesus Christ. Why? Because they are not asking you to place your faith in Jesus, but in them! Again, Jesus is the ONLY ONE who can forgive you. There is no man, no religion, no church, no ritual, which can replace or emulate His work on the Cross.

Every fraud will ask you to disregard that faith in Jesus, that direct and complete line to Jesus. This is why I said, discernment is actually made easy while these frauds will put it in your head that it is much more complicated. The frauds will scoff, mock, and argue when you say “well, why can’t I go directly and openly to Jesus on my own”. Because surely as the sun came up this morning, you can! They know it as well, and it now takes what light they thought they had and places it on Jesus Christ alone where it belongs. They hate this! They would love for you to get behind their roadblocks, but you just showed there are none.

The fraud will ALSO by these roadblocks insist that you do something first, dismissing your faith in Jesus, before Jesus could save you. They try to destroy the salvation equation and pervert God’s grace into something it is not, which is always placing conditions on salvation. The fraud will ALSO teach that you can lose this salvation from Jesus Christ, problem is Jesus promised never to lose anyone He saved.

So if you had your mind convoluted by all these world religions and so-called Christians telling you all sorts of things which are always different from the other, dismiss them ALL! Because friend, I am telling you that there is a DIRECT and UNIMPEDED line to the Messiah Jesus Christ by faith alone. If it is His will, TODAY you can be saved, yes TODAY. Approach Him as you would a King who loves you and He will forgive ALL your sins and more good news, He will grant you eternal life! It doesn’t matter how bad you were either, Jesus saves only the ungodly, never the frauds who think they are being saved by self righteousness.

Think on these things, and if you do not believe me considering I am merely an ordinary man, I ask you to discern all of this by Scripture and you should find as I did, the truth! Scripture never tells a lie! Again, that direct line to Jesus exists even while all these frauds tell you “no”. No one can replace Jesus Christ, so approach Him in total faith, and see how your heart changes forever!
