In Isaiah 10, we read of a circumstance where God sent ungodly Assyrians to use as His tool to put down His own chosen people who were practicing blasphemy and idolatry. He then held the Assyrians accountable for this. This is His powerful sovereignty often overlooked.
A very sinner, such myself from my own testimony, can have an ungodly person for example read Scripture, the Gospel out loud to them and have that be the start of their regeneration from God. The ungodly person doesn’t gain any points with God for doing so, like the Assyrians they are still ungodly.
The ignorant prevalent idea through the ages that the Gospel from Scripture is owned by an ordained minister. The Gospel being the power unto salvation then is limited by that minister. Not so! This would be putting a chain around God and letting Him out when this minister said He could come out. Many so-called Christian churches put that chain around God, as IF God is contained only to them.
First Corinthians 1
27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; 28 and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, 29 that no flesh should glory in His presence
God could use the most foolish means by our worldly finite thinking to turn the heart and mind of a sinner. He does this so that we cannot boast in our abilities, but to serve a notice that salvation is of His court alone, and that the glory goes solely to Him!
So repent of any thinking that God will only use certain religious people or things to commune with His creation. You cannot chain Him up as a servant, He is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent! Jesus chose His Apostles based on nothing they ever did by a worldly standard. He even chose Judas to walk with Him knowing all the while Judas would betray them. Could have Judas shared the Gospel to a sinner and that sinner saved? If Judas said it in truth as from Scripture, the answer is yes! The fact that God would use Judas this way in NO WAY exonerates Judas from his ungodliness, God simply used any means possible.
Another example, God even used the devil in the example of Job. He allowed the devil to tempt and torment Job to show that the saving faith from God was UNBREAKABLE. God used the Apostle Peter’s many screw ups to show that one who is a screw-up can be influential if God has chosen the person to do so. I dare say by some modern churches and their standards, Peter would have been kicked out of the ministry.
Another example, God used David as an example of a coming King, Jesus Christ. David was a murderer, an adulterer. David at the time, was the least likely by a worldly standard to be used by God, but here God was using him to show His power and sovereignty. The Apostle Paul, yet another example. A legalistic Pharisee who murdered and tortured Christians, in an instant Jesus changed Paul’s heart who went onto write down the most doctrine for the Christian church you will see in the New Testament. Again, Paul, a least likely candidate by modernistic religious standards was chosen and in some “churches” would never be allowed to enter or like Peter would have been asked to leave based on his past, but here we know that God used him!
Leave that fraudulent world religion which puts God into their small religious box and treats Him as some sort of pet. Used when they say God can be used as a weapon. God is Almighty! His sovereignty cannot be contained! His promises and purposes cannot be muted or censored or changed!
